Our January courses are ready for booking and we have a brilliant opportunity for you….
The chance to win a FREE course.
We are fundraising for a project we think is very special so we came up with 3 great prizes for you.
Our Walk and Talk programme is where refugees and Asylum Seekers come for an afternoon once a month for a language lesson and a visit to a local museum. We need to cover people's travel expenses to do this. Most Asylum Seekers live outside the city centre and have around £5 per day to live on. Their return bus fare is £4.40 so if we don't cover their bus fare, they can't take part. We want to welcome them to Liverpool, help them develop their English and help them get to know our amazing, free museums and galleries. If we can raise £2000 by December, we will be able to deliver the programme for 6 months with 30 people at each event.
To help us achieve this we have created a competition. Our quiz is called Are you a Citizen of the World? The questions are about the world, its people, places, languages, laws and celebrations. There are only 16 questions so it will take 10 minutes maximum. The suggested donation to take part is £10 and the prizes are …
